RURAL DEVELOPMENT MEDIA COMMUNICATION (RUDMEC), Kampala, Uganda
RUDMEC is a media non-governmental organisation compromising of trained development communicators, drawn from different media houses and NGOs in Uganda. The organisation was formed in 1995. It is liked to various community based organisations (CBOs) and NGOs working in rural areas. It also has partnership with various local, regional and international organisations and works closely with government institutions. RUDMEC is guided by a mission to initiate behavioural change using the media as a change agent to enhance better livelihood. The organisations, vision is to empower vulnerable communities and marginalized communities to be capable of utilizing the acquired information, knowledge and skills to achieve better livelihood. RUDMECs development objective is to contribute to efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development through good management practices in the areas of environment, agriculture and health.

- Land rehabilitation through tree planting
- Construction of ecosan toilets
Radio campaigns on ecosan toilets construction and benefits.
