fetching water A second spring (Yao Ka-Isaka) has been rehabilitated. The spring serves the lower Nyalenda, Upper Kapuothe and Villages bordering Auji stream that is also polluted with Municipal waste waters. The water from the spring is further tapped and channeled into a fish pond which is  integrated with local poultry farming and an arrow root garden. Read more....
ecosan Over 250 Ecosan toilets have been constructed. Construction of the ecosan toilets is done on a cost sharing basis with approximately between 25% and 30% being the community contribution.
